Ortogon is an architecture studio in Brno. We design houses and, above all, office buildings in the Czech Republic, Poland and Austria. We work as a small, steady team — from brief to author’s supervision each project is led by the architect who was there from the start.
We believe a good building ages slowly. We rely on clear structural logic, durable materials and generous spacing. We resolve details to the end, because they decide how a building lives and works ten years on.
Leads the studio and large office commissions. Oversees the order of the whole, from urbanism to detail.
Focuses on concept and daylight. Leads the design phase of projects.
Works on construction detail and delivery. Connects the design with structure and services.
Ties architecture and interior into one whole, from materials to built-in furniture.
Leads project documentation, permits and author’s supervision on site.
We get to know the site, the brief and the budget. We test the options with a first massing study.
We develop the concept into layouts, materials and a clear structural logic.
We prepare the project documentation and take the project through the permit process.
We accompany construction with author’s supervision through to handover.
